Zosimos Curra is built on stories, sketches, and a whole lot of heart, and none of it would be possible without the small but mighty team behind the scenes.

We’re a family-powered creative crew made up of big ideas, late-night brainstorms, and plenty of snacks. From writing and illustrating to business support, design, and emotional backup, each of us brings something unique to the table.

Nat Bannerman

Nat is the heart behind Zosimos Curra® and the creator of the Magbean!® series. As an autistic writer and illustrator from Canberra, Nat combines personal experience with bold imagination to create stories that celebrate diversity, kindness and self-expression. From world-building to character design, every part of Zosimos Curra® is infused with Nat’s passion for uplifting kids through creativity.

Mumager, Brand Advocate & Community Liaison

Debi Bannerman

Debi brings her skills as a seasoned project manager to the heart of Zosimos Curra®, helping turn big ideas into organised, achievable goals. As Nat’s mum and strongest supporter, she oversees business operations, coordinates events, and manages timelines with care and clarity. From logistics to late-night pep talks, Debi keeps the creative wheels turning, always with heart.

Shane Deguara

Shane brings a keen eye for detail and a steady hand to the design and production side of Zosimos Curra®. From page layouts to publishing prep, he helps transform Nat’s artwork and stories into polished, print-ready books. He’s also the unofficial tech support, part-time therapist, and all-round Uber Dad, always ready with a solution, a snack, or a quiet word of encouragement when it’s needed most.
